Wellington City Council is running a forum on the natural environment on Tuesday 23rd April. The Forum runs from 5:45-745pm, and provides an opportunity to learn about and discuss natural environment programmes and some of the environmental issues that Wellington faces.
The Major and Helen Ritchie will open the forum at 6:10, then a guest speaker, Professor David Fraser from the University of British Columbia will speak on "Cars, Cats and Climate Change - a few of the harms caused to animals by 7 billion busy people".
Then there is an opportunity to go into one of three breakout sessions:
1. Growing and enjoying our natural capital.
2. Predator-free Wellington?
3. Our smart energy capital.

6:30 Waking Ned Devine (91 minutes) - In celebration of St Patrick's Day, this award-winning comedy is about the lucky winner of the national (irish) lottery, who is so taken by his good fortune that he can't be woken, because he died from the shock of it!
