A public meeting was held regarding the proposed airport runway extension on 3rd July.
The notes of the proceedings are available here. The following motion was agreed:
that this group supports the formation of a group to be known as the Guardians of Evans Bay with a primary focus to take all steps necessary to oppose extension of runway into Evans Bay.
