Proposed Parking Restrictions on Hataitai Road

At the request of the Hataitai Community Recreation Trust, WCC are considering some changes to Traffic Restrictions in Hataitai Road. We have requested a mobility park for those who need easy access to the Hataitai Centre (and this can also be used for access to the village), as well as two time restricted parks. These time restricted parks will also be useful for residents nearby who need to park short term.

The proposed restriction is being advertised in The Dominion Post on Tuesday 2 March 2021. Affected parties have 14 days to provide feedback, with consultation officially closing at 5pm on Monday 15 March 2021.

The report is expected to be presented to the Regulatory Processes Committee on Wednesday 14 April 2021 for approval and the restrictions will be implemented soon after.
