Community Room Facilities
Our Community Room is a meeting space suitable for up to 30 people.
Facilities include:
Heat pump
Access to a small kitchen
Couches
Folding tables
Access to the Waipapa Reserve Playground including the sandpit.
The Community Room is also adjacent to the Hataitai Plunket Clinic and Matairangi Kindergarten.

Can we have alcohol at our event?
Please coordinate with the Community House to have alcohol at your event.
Do you have a BBQ we can use?
No, we do not have BBQ facilities at the Community House.
How late can I book the Community House?
The Hataitai Centre can be booked between 6:00 am - 10:00 pm Monday - Sunday.
Do you have a sound system or PA?
We have a speaker that we can provide that you can connect to via Bluetooth. But no PA system is available for hire.
Is there accessible parking?
No* - We have one accessible park on Hataitai Rd, just down from the Hataitai Centre, and one in the Hataitai Village. But no accessible parking on Waipapa Rd.
Do we have access to the playground?
Yes - The playground is open to the public 24/7. We have a sandpit and toys too!
