Community Litter Blitz

Gather your friends, family and neighbours to clean up our streets at our community litter blitz.

Meet downstairs at the Hataitai Centre, next to the Hataitai Village Green, 157 Hataitai Road, at 2pm (rain or shine).

We will supply the rubbish bags! Bring yourself some gloves, alternatively, we can supply some large one size fits all.

Afterwards, we will convene back in the Centre for delicious thank-you snacks, ice blocks and refreshments.

If you can’t make the day but would still like to participate, please get in touch, and we can allocate a street to you. Email hcrt@hataitai.org.nz

Come along meet Julie-Anne, connect with your community and share what’s on top good and bad!

The Resdient’s Association is a great place of action for our community. All residents of Hataitai are welcome!

Community Garden Open Day

Join us for a cup of tea and find out what has been happening at the Hataitai Community Garden.

We recently have been working on our composting system and some new signage. Come meet a few of the people who plant, weed, water and take care of the space and see how you can be involved.

Neighbours Day Village Market

Our Neighbours Day Village Market has something for all the whānau.

At the Hataitai Centre, there will be market stalls with a selection of artisan crafts, art, food and much more.

From 1pm, out on the Village Green, we will have a variety of backyard games, including cricket, Kubb, giant Jenga, and swing ball.

Bring your whānau and friends and challenge your neighbours to a friendly game.

At 12.30pm, we will host a Children’s Treasure Hunt across the Village Green at the Hataitai Community House and Waipapa Reserve Playground.

Then sit back and relax over some food with your neighbours! It’ll be a great start to Autumn and a great way to connect with your Community.

We can’t wait to see you there!
