The Hataitai annual cleanup is ON - this weekend, Saturday 8th June.
It's usually held in September, but Wellington City Council has apparently suspended suburb cleanups from the end of June. There's a change of contractor, and although the cleanups have been happening for as long as we can remember (at least 27 years), this seems about to change.
We've brought our cleanup forward to avoid this.
