A Government Helpline - 0800 779 997, is now up and running and available 7 days a week (8am - 1am). This provides welfare information and support for these individuals who are in self isolation.

For health-specific questions please call Healthline0800 358 5453.

We are closely following the Ministry of Health’s guidelines. To best look after our own health and of those around us we need to continue to focus on good hygiene practices. Thorough hand washing, keeping hands away from faces and good cough etiquette are very important tools in preventing the spread of illness.  For more information you can check out the Ministry of Health’s webpage.

Here is a wonderful video clip from Nanogirl that will help your children to better understand the virus - YouTube clip - Nanogirl.  She also has a great clip on the hand washing and how it works to keep germs away.
