WCC have advised the construction work at the Village intersection will start Monday 14 June.

Key points to note:

Hours of work will generally by Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm, with some occasional weekend work.
Construction will take approximately 3 months.
There will be no access to the East side of Waitoa Road from the intersection. Alternative routes will be clearly sign posted. (Please note, WCC are now aware a detour via Arcus Way is not suitable as per their letter. Do not use Arcus Way as a thoroughfare as it is a one way, private road and is largely gravel).
Number 35 and 14 Bus Routes will e detoured via Waipapa Rd, Hataitai Rd, William St and Tapiri St.
A project board will be placed in the village to keep us all informed with progress.
