Artists Impressions of Hataitai - 2022 Calendar

The Hataitai Centre and Community House events committee decided on a novel approach to our annual fund-raising calendar this year. We approached artists in Wellington | Te Whanganui-a-Tara to give their impression of Hataitai in their chosen medium.

Twelve original artworks feature in this year’s calendar, revealing twelve completely different artistic impressions of our wonderful suburb. From a super-colourful, abstract painting of sunbathers during lockdown, to the iconic Four Square on Waitoa Road rendered in painterly brushstrokes in gorgeous, moody tones, these beautiful artworks are sure to please all tastes! NOTE: Some of the artists are regulars at the Hataitai Village Market, first Saturday of each month from 10am – 2pm, 157 Hataitai Road - just a short stroll up from the village.  Head down to check out their work.
