Welcome Michael our new Coordinator!

A big welcome to Michael our new coordinator at the Hataitai Centre and Community House. We look forward to having him on the team!

Michael is a locally based artist, musician, and writer who has recently joined the Hataitai community as the new Community Centre Coordinator. Drawing from his extensive experience in the arts and his decade-long role as a teacher aide, Michael is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where people can connect, share stories, and find unity in shared experiences. With a passion for bringing people together, Michael looks forward to getting to know the wider community, fostering a sense of openness, and helping the Centre become a vibrant hub for community and culture.

Michael will be settling in over the next few weeks and our office hours may vary a bit while we are getting a new routine going.
